Serpil Tuti-Sari, an Apple Distinguished Educator, lives in Izmir and works as an assistant manager and technology leader at TED Izmir College. In earlier times, she has worked in education, leadership and management positions at Providence College in Rhode Island State in the USA, Bilkent Schools, Bilkent University Institute of Educational Sciences, Intel Turkey, Enocta, Işıkkent institutions. During her life in Singapore, she visited schools and studied teaching models. She worked as a Senior E-Learning Consultant in the Bilge-İş Project supported by the European Union and the Ministry of Labor. She is an ITGS auditor in the diploma program of the IBDP-International Baccalaureate program. Serpil Tuti Sarı received her undergraduate education in 2002 at Hacettepe University, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies. In 2005, she completed her master's degree in Computer Education and Instructional Technology at the same university. She took doctoral courses at Bilkent University. She published 11 books in 2007. In 2014, she received the "Learning Leaders Certificate" from Harvard University. She is a finalist of "Women Leaders of Technology" as "Successful Education Leader of 2017" selected by Microsoft & Kagider & Aydın Doğan Foundation. In 2019, she was one of the "Successful Women in 100 years", chosen to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Atatürk's arrival in Samsunto start the Independence War and selected as one of the "Women 19 Leading Women in Turkey." She has national and international articles. E-learning, teacher training, instructional design, educational technologies are her specialty.
