High School Principal

Dr. Elif Kara Öztürk has completed her undergraduate studies at Yıldız Technical University on Computer and Instructional Technologies Education and her Master’s Degree from Istanbul University’s Informatics Departments. Her Doctoral Degree is in Business Management and Organization from Gebze Institute of Technology focusing on strategic thinking, political skills, and transformational leadership. Dr. Öztürk has taught primary, middle, and high school levels. She has also worked and department head, and technology leader. Along with teaching different computer science courses and spearheading technology-related projects at school, she guided and lead the educational technology practices in her school. She has been a member of the Turkish Private Schools Association’s IT Commission; a Board Member at the Autumn Teachers’ Conference, a prestigious event for all educators; and a member of the Organization Committee for the Educational Technology Conference. With her belief in the positive impact of using technology for social good, she has carried out technology-supported social responsibility projects in different study fields such as access to education for disadvantaged groups and gender equality. Working with educational leaders, academicians, and teachers, Dr. Öztürk is an expert in the place of successful technology integration in education, flexible learning environments, educational transformation, and innovation as a Google Certified Educator Trainer and Apple Professional Learning Specialist. She is currently working as the High School Principal in The Koç School.
